Goodies online^23.08.2008

I finally decided to take care of the goodies section here at gianmarcolauriola.com. I spent a while today with the markup of the concerned area. Mostly designin the final outcome of the page & also to make it be simply updatable.

Though the page do have its first addtions which I like to share with you but there will be definitely a lot more in near future! And that is a promise. I've been planning to write a documentation alike tutorial of couple of projects that I'm working on at the moment. By following the basic idea of explaining how I've created some parts of those cases...including both; graphics & markup.

If everything goes as planned the documentations will be online in early September. I also try to gather some of my personal photos & vectors that I've made and put them as downloadable add-ons within this autumn.

Weeks featured website^10.08.2008

I have been submitting gianmarcolauriola.com on some showcasing websites during last week. Last night I did receive an e-mail from Mabucplus including comfortable news. Mabucplus selected gianmarcolauriola.com as their weeks featured website which is a special thing to me as the designer & of this site.

So it finally happened!^03.08.2008

GianmarcoLauriola.com is finally open and online. I can't tell how relieved I am now when this site is launched at last. I've been really busy and overloaded with my work assignments during this spring & summer that there's no words to describe it...which is a great thing though.

About the designing process of this site

I have been creating and developing this website mostly at night-time because it has been the only opportunity to do it...usually fairly after midnight...when I should have been sleeping.

Anyway I'am quite satisfied with its actual shape at the moment. IMy ambition/goal was to design a website with "rough" graphic expression as to its layout. Which I believe came off well. Though there are some particular details that isn't complete yet like the "Goodies" section. Also some additional updates will be made on the portfolio as soon as I manage to find time for that.
